Past President Liliane Lalonde-McKennirey and Joanne Parenteau entertained us with an 18 minute selection of piano pieces by Bizet, Beethoven, Mozart and others for two people playing on one piano. They obviously enjoyed playing together, and transmitted that joy to us through their enthusiastic playing. They spoke to us of some of the opportunities of this type of music (creating a dialog between the two parts) and some of the challenges (being very careful not to get their fingers tangled up!).
